SHL ??

That's for the pre-processor, it is not for generating instructions. Ex:

MOV R6,#1 OR (MSK SHL 4)

Note how OR and SHL are not on the far left where the MOV is? That's because there is no such 8051 instruction. You can only rotate on an 8051, I am sorry to say.
