I am using the NIOSII soft processor in eclipse and I am having a difficult time figuring out how to read and write to a pin. Does anyone have any sample code they could share to show how this is done.Thank you in advanced.
NIOS is not an ARM processor:

So you need to go to Intel (who acquired Altera) for this.

But whether you use Eclipse or not won't be relevant.
