Power Measurement Tools for the ARM processor

Hi Experts,

Is there any standard power measurement tools offered from ARM on measuring the power consumed by the processor ?

    ARM provide an entry-level power probe for DS-5 streamline:

         ARM Energy Probe | ARM DS-5 Development Studio

    There are more accurate devices out there from more specialist vendors (if you search for Data Acquisition tools you should find something), which can capture multiple different measurements in parallel. Most power analysis requires some form of hardware access and board support (e.g. to measure power you need to have access to small shunt resistors in the power rails which you can measure the voltage across so you can calculate the current).
