Hi everyone! I’m working on a project that’s based on ARM technology, and it involves high-performance digital integrated circuits as well as some delicate analog parts. I could really use some help with power management. I need to choose a DC-DC converter that can lower a 12V input while keeping efficiency high, and I also want to use LDO regulators to provide clean and quiet power for the ARM microcontroller and the analog components. My project needs a 12V input and stable outputs at 5V and 3.3V, especially since I have components that are sensitive to noise and require clean power. So far, I’ve been thinking about using a buck converter like the MP1584 or LM2596 to drop the voltage to 5V, and then I would add an LDO regulator such as the AMS1117-3.3 to get a smooth 3.3V output. But I’m wondering if there are better options or methods out there, especially for reducing ripple and keeping the power stable for all the ICs. I would also love any advice on filtering methods or PCB design tips to cut down on noise and boost efficiency. Has anyone here faced a similar challenge? I’m eager to hear your thoughts and recommendations. Thank you so much for your help!
