Question about ARM MPS2 and MPS2+ FPGA Prototyping Boards

Hi, we got the same error 'ERROR: FPGA did not configure.' as community.arm.com/.../v2m-mps2-error-fpga-did-not-configure

From the answer, he suggested us fill out a form the send the board back to ARM to reprogram the encryption key.
Since we are in an urgent condition to use this board, we plan to buy a new one and repair the old one at the same.

So here are the questions:

  1. The hardware fault form mentioned in this answer was missed.
  2. We can only find the MPS2 in stock but no MPS2+ board.
We checked the document Arm MPS2 and MPS2+ FPGA Prototyping Boards Technical Reference Manual Version 2.0, seems the biggest difference between the two boards is "The MPS2 FPGA Prototyping Board provides an Altera Cyclone 5CEA7 FPGA, and the MPS2+ FPGA Prototyping Board provides an Altera Cyclone 5CEA9 FPGA". But we cannot confirm whether they support the same evaluation environment or not.
  3. Will the FPGA images that are provided by ARM (developer.arm.com/.../download-fpga-images) work for both V2M MPS2+ and V2M MPS2 boards? Because the image descriptions clearly show those images are for the MPS2+ board.
  4. Based on Q2 and Q3, if the answers are no, where can we buy the MPS2+ board?
  5. What's the estimated time to get the MPS2+ board repaired?

In conclusion, we want to confirm if the MPS2 and MPS2+ provide the same development or evaluation environment. Then we can buy MPS2 to continue our research instead of waiting for the exact MPS2+ board.

I very much appreciate your help. Thank you very much.
