I am using SGI-575 and trying to enable networking. I want to connect SGI-575 with external world so that I can access the ip of my kernel running on SGI-575 network from my host machine. There is no documentations available. There is an option under sgi-575 runtime parameters "board.hostbridge.interfaceName", so what this parameter needs and intends to do.
If anybody knows about this kindly help me out.

I didn't try the steps myself, but look at the section "Setup networking, ssh, and scp" in this article. I think this is what you want to do and SGI-575 is probably the same or very close.
