GCC downgrade to 4.4.7 in CentOS-7

My OS is CentOS-7 and the default version of GCC is 4.8.5 20150623 (Red Hat 4.8.5-39) (GCC). Is it possible to downgrade the GCC version to 4.4.7.

If possible to downgrade what are the impacts?
