gnu as syntax vs. ST Cortex-M4

I'm new to Cortex-M4 assembler. I have installed the gcc-arm-none-eabi-8-2018-q4-major toolchain.

Is the syntax the same as used in the PM0214 Rev 101/2621 PM0214 Programming manual?
