Hi,
I am working on debugging of bootloader and applicatins to run on ARM926EJ-s using the REAL VIEW ICE and RVDS.
I have installed the RVDS v1.8 and i have done the configuration settings as per the user manual.
I have connected the Realview ICE to the target ,It is showing that real view ICE attached the stopped device.
After happening this it is showing the error message in the code pane window of Dsm tab as Error V28305 (Vehicle):
Memory operation failed
and in the Src tab it is showing that load the image to the target as hyperlink. After loading the image when i try to step in it is failing. Please explain me why it is showing the Error message in the Dsm tab of code pane.To overcome this what configuration needs to be changed. Please help me regarding this how can i recover from this.
Thanks,
Nagaraju

"I have installed the RVDS v1.8...."
That's kinda old. Current version is 4.1!
The error message probably means that it couldn't read memory at the specified address. This could be for any number of reasons, such as the MMU blocking access.

Could someone tell me where to download RVDS 3.1? I require it for developing a legacy project.
Also, how do you search these forums? Is there an option missing in firefox, or am I just not seeing it?
Thanks,
Dan
