I have armcc manually configured with --arm_linux_configure. When I compile the vecotrization code example (
http://infocenter.arm.com/help/topic/com.arm.doc.dui0472f/BGBEJBCF.html
) I do _not_ see messages about vectorization. In plain armcc mode I do see messages about loop vectorization. How to make armcc vectorize the code in arm_linux mode?

I've localized it to "--translate_g++" armcc option at compilation. Somehow it disables vectorization.

Right. "--translate_g++ -ftree-vectorize" works for me now. The "-Warmcc,--vectorize" does not enable vectorization if it specified together with "--translate_g++".
Thanks

I believe that if you use "armcc --translate_g++ -O3 ..." or "armcc --translate_g++ -ftree-vectorize ..." then you will enable vectorization.
What options are you using? What version of armcc are you using (armcc --vsn)?
