Cannot enter Debug Mode

Hi

when downloading to the LM3s8933 microcontroler i get this message "Cannot enter Debug Mode"
is any one know whats the problem.

    You need to give more information:
    Which toolchain? which debug hardware? Setup as JTAG or Serial wire? Have you try reducing the debug clock frequency? Is the flash programming working at all?
    It can be caused by many different factors. E.g.
    - debug pins blocked by I/O usage
    - incorrect PLL settings
    - issues with voltage level on debug pins
