yeah..the previous reply was helpful...can you help me with one of the assembly files..as in...
please follow the link...

scroll down to the point where merging and linking of two files take place..
can you please explain why is there unequal address difference in the assembly code...??

Do you mean do the assembler instructions behave differently? If so - no. They have different filex syntaxes, but the instruction set stays the same. What may vary is the pseudo instructions they provide (i.e. not real instructions, but useful short hand).
