The four ARM11 CPUs within each cluster are hardware coherent and therefore able to exchange data freely, however, the two independent clusters (one on each site) are not coherent, and would therefore require additional software driven cache maintainance, or execution with the caches disabled, in order to be able to exchange data.I don't believe this is something that SMP Linux is designed to deal with, and would likely require significant porting effort in order to make it usefully identify and utilise all eight CPUs.
