Unable to install DS-5 CE plugin 5.22 into existing Eclipse Mars/Luna/Kepler

Hi all,

I tried to install latest DS-5 CE plugin 5.22 (using http://tools.arm.com/eclipse link) into recent versions of Eclipse: Mars, Luna, Kepler. In all of them the installation fails and the setup claims that there are some missing plugins (related to RSE) and that only version 5.12 can be installed. I read here and there that RSE support in Eclipse changed a bit. I am guessing how the plugin works in DS-5.

Could someone help me solving Eclipse installation of plugin?

  • Huh! Yesterday was not working with no Eclipse version!

    Today I was able to install on Luna. This is the error in Mars.1:

    Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.

    Software being installed: Eclipse plug-ins for DS-5 Community Edition 5.22.0.20150722_054524 (com.arm.ds.community.feature.feature.group 5.22.0.20150722_054524)

    Missing requirement: Eclipse plug-ins for DS-5 Community Edition 5.22.0.20150722_054524 (com.arm.ds.community.feature.feature.group 5.22.0.20150722_054524) requires 'org.eclipse.rse.terminals.feature.group 1.1.0' but it could not be found

    I get the same problem for Eclipse Neon (64-bit) when I try to update the already installed DS-5 Community Edition:
