ds_profiler No such feature exists.

I install ds-5 evaluation on ubuntu 12.04 , using streamline on command, fail info:

No such feature exists.

Feature:       ds_profiler

License path:  /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.lic:

FLEXnet Licensing error:-5,357

For further information, refer to the FLEXnet Licensing documentation,

available at "www.flexerasoftware.com".

my license:

INCREMENT ulteval_ds_profiler armlmd 6.0 08-oct-2015 uncounted \

        E59E750C3FDB HOSTID=104780022c83 ISSUER="ARM Limited" \

        NOTICE="For evaluation purposes only" \

I think the ds-5 version is not right, the feature name is different,  so download again from Evaluation prodects, get the ds5 package:DS500-BN-00019-r5p0-22rel0.tgz

but it's not work? the same failure info.

how can i fix it? thanks

  • Hi,

You need to set the license type either from Command line or better from the Eclipse UI and restart the DS-5 (or in your case Streamline)

    Command line:

    Set ARM_TOOL_VARIANT=ulteval

    Eclipse for DS-5 v5.xx:

    1) Start Eclipse for DS-5

    2) Help --> ARM License Manager

    3) Check that you have a valid license (shown by green tick mark next to your license)

    4) In the 'Select the toolkit that you intend to use' dropdown select Ultimate Evaluation

    5) Restart the Eclipse

    6) This sets the required environment variable for your license type

Please note that the evaluation license is valid for 30 days only. So for user rain1234, the license will not work as we can see it lapsed on 8 Oct 2015.
