I had already started the RD-N2 FVP. Ds5 can connect to RD-N2 FVP,but cannot import it because of this error
Hi MikhailMy name is Stephen and I work at Arm.Which version of the Arm toolkit, exactly, are you using? Look in Help > About.Sorry, but the older "DS-5" toolkit does not support Neoverse N2. DS-5 has been superseded by Arm Development Studio ("Arm DS"). Arm DS supports Neoverse N2 and all the other recent Arm processors. So you need to use Arm DS instead. The latest Arm DS 2022.1 is available for download (including a free 30-day trial) fromdeveloper.arm.com/.../arm-development-studio-downloadsHope this helpsStephen
Stephen, thank you for your help.
The version of ds5 I used is 5.29.3,it does not have a build-in Neoverse-N2 model, but the DS5 document says that it it possible to create a new model,I did,but reported this error.
Step 1: I build and start RD-N2 FVP and software stack according to https://gitlab.arm.com/arm-reference-solutions/arm-reference-solutions-docs/-/tree/master/docs/infra/rdn2 .
Step2: I start ds5 to connect my rd-n2 FVP,but this error occurs .
Mikhail,
To clarify, it is not just that there is no configuration for the FVP you are using, but rather that DS-5 has no awareness of the Neoverse N2 processor itself.
You require Arm Development Studio (Gold or higher edition):https://developer.arm.com/Tools%20and%20Software/Arm%20Development%20Studio#Supported-Devices
Ronan, thanks for your guidance,I get it . I will use Arm Development Studio instead of ds5.
