Is the energy probe MUST run under linux kernel? Can it run under bootloader?

I'm trying DS5/streamline/ energy probe to measure CPU power with a simple power test ucode.

I want run the ucode and measure CPU power under bootloader. Because the bootloader is a simple environment.

After set capture options and connect energy probe, I press start capture button in streamline data, pop a dialog window: unknown host: xxx.

My DS-5 version is 5.15.0.

Must setup the gator.ko , gatord and adb if use energy probe?

Must energy probe measure under linux kernel or android?

Can use energy probe under bootloader?
