ARM DS-5 documentation.

Hi,

There are a few options:

1. Read the DS-5 documentation which can be found under ARM Software Development Tools in Infocenter, there are specific sections for DS-5 Debugger, Streamline, ARM Compiler etc that should help.
2. For new users, we've just launched a Get Started section of the DS-5 website, which shows you how to do basic, but important things in the DS-5 Eclipse environment (based around coding Hello World for bare-metal using ARM Compiler and for Linux using GCC). If you've never used DS-5, I recommend starting there. We'd be interested to hear any feedback as to whether these tutorials help you.
3. We have a tutorials section on the DS-5 website where we post longer, more in-depth tutorials based around features like Streamline, Trace etc.
4. DS-5 has contextual help - if you don't understand a particular Eclipse view, highlight it and press F1. This will bring up the relevant section of the docs for that view.
5. If you have either a Freescale Vybrid board, or an ST-Ericsson Snowball, there are practical, hands-on workshop documents: http://ds.arm.com/media/uploads/ds-5_vybrid_freescale_ws.pdf and http://ds.arm.com/media/uploads/DS-5_Workshop-v5.13-d1622-6-12.03-SB-DSTREAM.pdf. Bear in mind that these were written for a specific rev of the hardware and a specific version of DS-5.
6. If you browse through the ARM and Keil Tools blogs here on ARM Connected Community, you can find plenty of useful tips for DS-5 written by our engineering teams.
7. Many of our distributors offer training, and ARM offers a broad range of training courses. Depending on what level of mastery you're trying to achieve and how big your team is, we also have FAEs who give DS-5 training.
