How to debug a target not list in DS-5 connection tab?

I want to debug the Cortex-A15 MP from renesas (r8a7791) with the DStream, but the chip is not list in the debug configuration connection tab.

I have tried to select the other A15 to connect the target, but it didn't work.

So what can I do to make it?

  • Thanks. And I meets some problems. The auto configure of dbghwconfig configured the target partly.

Below is the Disassembly window snapshot, you can see that each instruction is 2 bytes instead of 4 bytes.

I have query the Memory window, the data is right. And all these address is in SoC intern RAM. The load/restore is OK, and I can stop the SoC.

If you are on a valid technical support contract, contact our Support team and they will help you.

From my ARM license manager, it hints:

Support and maintenance for ARM DS-5 expired on Mar 31, 2014. You are no longer able to install DS-5 updates or consult ARM Support experts. To restart support and maintenance visit http://ds.arm.com/s-and-m.

Can I get support from ARM still?
