Baremetal AARCH64 application with file IO

Is it possible to run an baremetal application with fileio on the ARMv8 Foundation model.

If so do you have example linker script?

file io : do read/write operations for a file?
maybe ATF(Arm Trusted Firmware) source code is a good place to find an example.
