I am just getting started on a new project. I need to be able to connect my DSTREAM via ethernet but I am offsite with no static IP.
Is it possible to configure the DSTREAM via url (dynamic DNS) instead of IP address? If it cannot resolve domain I am going to have to pay big bucks for static IP via Verizon which I would like to avoid.
Regards
Mike
Hi Mike

You need a remote connection with their local environment e.g A dedicated Workstation (PC, DS-5 with professional license, Connection with DSTREAM through Ethernet/USB [in case of Trace Functionality Required] ,Team Viewer)
we did this most of time (: in case of deadlines accessing office workstation from home.
Asi.
The clients WAN is blocking the ports DSTREAM + DS-5 utilities use to see what is on the network.
