This is a simple inquiry. What does RTX mean or stand for. I know it is the Keil RTOS but what does the R stand for, the T and the X.
Thank You. I think R is real, and T is probably time, and for X ?, No big deal I am just curious. I guess I am one of those that has to
know exactly even though I can guess, and over all it is inconsequential, just bugs me.

Yes I see, that is probably as good as any. I know it is just a marketing thing,. Really just marketing name for that version of their RTOS
So I will use eXecutive to satisfy my OCD. My name is Bob, I just signed up. I am a senior EE student at NYU-POLY, use to be Polytechnic
University, in Brooklyn NY. I am studying an intro course to Embedded systems now and thought I might listen in on some of the stuff here.
I will listen and learn for a while and then add to forum if I think I can help. I am 56 years old and decided I want to be an EE., almost there.
Take care and thank you.
Bob
