    Hi Hezi,
    Real-Time Operating System is software.
    On some chips, you could have it already programmed and only interact with the RTOS through some commands.
    Any example you had in mind?

    I don't believe you will be able to find supported hardware runnning iOS5. As far as I know it is only available for Apple products and porting it to another platform would infringe its license.
    Also, iOS products don't legitimately support dual boot... Therefore you will not find official documentation to help you.
    For app development, you could use the Apple iOS SDK with its simulator but you are would not be able to access boot sequence.
