Note: This was originally posted on 22nd March 2012 at http://forums.arm.com

Hi, I want to buy an ARM kit, but confused in which one to buy, it must have:

- Serial
- USB Host/Device.
- CAN
- Ethernet
- SPI if available
- SD/MMC memory card
- LCD touch screen
- some I/O pins
- Ability to run Embedded linux/WinCE & RTOS - i'm a beginner in both.
- Ability to be connected to WIFI, GSM/GPRS, 3G or Bluetooth modules.

Please suggest me one.

What makes you say that? ARM7 can run many operating systems. What do you think we all used before Cortex-M was released? =P

I don't think that you can run LiNUX or WinCE on ARM7. If thats possible, then just guide me to have linux on ARM7 (LPC2148). [I'm not kidding, i just gave up doing that as could not find proper documentation]

Rupinder has specified embedded Linux/WinCE. hence suggested CortexM3 over ARM7.
