This sounds like a strange question, but does ARM provide binaries of the AEM FVPs compiled to run on AARCH64 Linux?
Downloaded the foundation (https://developer.arm.com/downloads/-/arm-ecosystem-models) version and the binary is compiled only for x86, and there isn't any source code or alternative architectures.
My use case is that I do OS development on my M1 Macbook in an Ubuntu docker container, and I'm trying to avoid having to QEMU my entire development environment, just to run the ARMv9 FVP locally. Two layers of emulation sound rather terrible and slow.
Sorry, no such FVPs are available.
Hi, Arm has released their official FVP support for AArch64 native environment. I've tried it on my M1 Macbook and it works well. Here is the link:developer.arm.com/.../Fixed Virtual Platforms
Thanks for posting this update! Yes, they are available now (as beta) for AArch64 Linux hosts..
