ADUC7026 JTAG

Hi,

I am attempting to communicate with the ADUC7026 via the JTAG connector so that I may program it. I am using the mIDAS-Link interface module for communication but to no avail. However, I
am able to communicate with the ADuC7026 Eval Board without a single problem.

When it fails to communicate, it states the following error:
Attempting to read 0x01, read 0x07. It also states that my configuration settings
might need adjusting.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Can someone offer some insight into this
problem please.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Saul

  • Hi Keil,

thank you very much for responding to my query. To be honest with you, this is the
first time that I am working with the ADuC7026 let alone the IAR development environment.
So, to answer your question, I really wouldn't know which settings to change as the
Eval board has the same ADuC7026 that we are using in our design.

Have you experienced this issue before where you connect to the Eval board and it
communicates seamlessly but as soon as you attempt to communicate with your ADuC7026
    it does not recognize it?

  • Then why are you asking on the Keil forum??!!

  • Hi Keil,

I actually got it to work. What was causing it to not communicate was our
ADM708 3V uProcessor supervisory circuit. It's driving pin 69 (BM) low.
So it was not the ADUC7026 that was failing, it had to do with our
    external circuitry.

In any case, thank you very much for your help.

    Regards,

    Saul
