hi fellow coders,
i have wondered for a long time, is it possible to make a meter to measure voltage and amps and maybe even ohmage using a uc. i think it would be a cool project.
do you think it would work? i know it would probebbly be very difficult but think it can sell if we make it good. i have already found friend who can draw a circuit. i am probably the best you can see at writing code. but i dont want to start if it cannot be done.
plz give advice quick. i want to make a report of a project very soon.
Matt, You wrote a rather elaborate post, so I really thought your were serious! I hope you don't mind me saying, it sounded a bit like one of these Nigerian bank fraud emails that I sometimes receive. I sometimes reply: "Great idea! exciting! will we meet face to face to close a deal?". they never agree :) :)
Tamir,
Well, I don't consider myself a spammer.
Just that my intolerance of posts like the OPs is growing.
Self proclaimed brilliance just plain annoys me:
"i am probably the best you can see at writing code"
Matt, I am not the only one that fell for your charms :) :) (Andy Neil...? :) ). Having a good laugh from time to time serves as a fine comic relief...
"I sometimes reply: 'Great idea! exciting! will we meet face to face to close a deal?'"
That is a really Bad Idea!
These mails are just sent out in bulk to random addresses - by replying, you have confirmed to them that your email address is "live"
Also, these fraudster can be serious criminals - you should certainly not be getting involved yourself in any way at all! If you feel the need to do something about it, then contact your local law enforcement; eg: www.met.police.uk/.../419.htm
Unfortunately, there are also too many posts like that which are in all seriousness!
Andy, I am really touched by your concern. I'd never ever go meet Nigerian fraudsters or any fraudsters for this matter, so don't worry. So I say: Let them spam this forum. We will strike back by our (very) sharp tongues!
