Arm GNU Toolchain 15.3.Rel2 arm-none-eabi-gcc --version reports "15.3.Rel1"

The 15.3.Rel2 arm-none-eabi toolchains on GitLab report the wrong package version string.

$ arm-none-eabi-gcc --version
arm-none-eabi-gcc (Arm GNU Toolchain 15.3.Rel1 (Build arm-15.149)) 15.3.1 20260627

The original 15.3.Rel1 release reports Build arm-15.149, so only the build number tells the two releases apart.

  • Thanks for fixing this so quickly! I can confirm the new binaries now report "15.3.Rel2 (Build arm-15.181)) 15.3.1 20260627"

    One small request for the future, if possible: when a release gets re-uploaded, it would be really helpful to have a note about it somewhere, and to publish it under a new release URL.

    The files were replaced at the same URLs, so projects that pin the SHA256/MD5 values themselves (rather than fetching the hash files) started failing their checksum checks. For example, the arm-none-eabi-gcc-action GH Action, or any possible Docker images that install the toolchain.

    Thanks again!
