Hi, I believe the annotation for this diagram - "Normal memory 14-byte Read transaction from an unaligned address" should read "Write transaction" instead of "Read transaction", given the byte enables in the figure as well as the
description that follows.Additionally, I would suggest specifying what the shaded blocks in the diagram are meant to represent. I believe the intention was to illustrate bytes accessed, but this is not consistent between all the examples (since B2.47 is a normal memory write, bytes accessed should be all 64 bytes starting from the aligned address). Additionally, Figure B2.46 should have 32 bytes starting from 0x60 greyed, instead of the full 64 starting from 0x40.
Please correct me if my understanding is incorrect, but I do believe this was the intention of the diagrams, given the difference in greyed out bytes between the device read and normal read examples.
