I am currently working on LPC2148 and had an issue. I am reading the sensor reading and converting it to another unit and transmitting it on to the LCD. Now I want to transmit the Converted data to UART. The data is in float form.
Can anyone guide me for the same?
Do you want to send to the UART in ASCII or as raw bytes of data?
Programming is not a hand holding exercise, study and apply structured thought. The goal here is to be smarter than the machine.

Have you studied the LPC2148 datasheet for details of how the UART on this chip works?
Have you visited the manufacturer's website for support - examples, application notes, etc ?
Have you googled for examples, tutorials, etc ?
Your thread title says,
"Fetching data from lcd"
In many cases, that isn't even possible - a display is generally 'write-only'
Even if it is possible, a far better idea is to work with the "source data":
I have studied all about lpc 2148 and have seen the examples too. But the thing is i have stored the converted data in a variable and this variable value i want to write on UART at the same time the data gets printed on LCD.
I am Done with LCD interfacing and its totally working. This UART section is Not working i have tried fetching data on UART0 and use hyperterminal for checking whethers its coming or not.
But there's no data shown by UART0
I know this sir but kindly read my first response..
ASCII as i have converted the data to ASCII for lcd interfacing.. As we do for adc value printing while LCD interfacing.
But the UART0 is not receiving any data. I have checked with RealTerm but no data is coming from UART0
