µVISION DEBUGGER: "Trace HW not present" using J-Trace on Cortex-M7 says the JL2CM3.dll JLink/JTrace debugger driver DLL from Segger used in MDK µVision doesn't yet support the trace debug functionality for all Cortex-M7 based target devices.
Now, it's about one year later. So what's the situation now?
I'm designing a PCB, and need to choose which debugger connector should use on my board, J-link or ST-Link, or U-link.
Thanks.

so have you (also) asked Segger ?

Not yet. Because I've not found similar report on Segger's site. And I need a product ID to register and post question on that site but I don't own a Segger's product yet. If there still some problems using J-link + Keil, I may need to design my board with a 10-pin SWD connector and stick to ST-Link, but not a JTAG connector. So anyone can give some clues?

Not for the public forum - that just needs an email address.
If you're intending to buy a Segger product, then it's a pre-sales enquiry:

Eh?!
You can use whatever connector you like!
Better to design-in full support, then not use it, than find you need it and wish you hadn't left it off!
