Hi all, I found a related Topic on uV2 (http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread9355.asp). Unfortunally no practicable solution can be found there.
Is there any Registry Switch etc. on uV3/WinXP?

You're right: this is a very annoying feature, especially as the splash screen is displayed for an excessive length of time!
Most sensible software has a setting to disable any splash screen - but not, as far as I know, uVision.

As an alternative, you could consider skipping the IDE altogether for a build and using an external makefile.
Some of my older projects were originally created using external makefiles and the whole build sequence was nice and quick.
I don't have UV3 on my desktop at the moment - Does it have a 'create external makefile' option?
