Application-code triggered simulation-stop Corstone-300 MPS3 FVP

Is there any way to trigger simulation stop from application (hosted client) code on these FVP?

Currently,  we're relying on some hacky monitoring "UART" telnet port output to kill the FVP when individual runs complete/crash  when executing a suite of tests.

Something a little cleaner/robust would be preferable!

  • Hi Andrew, I tried to reply to your question, but it had disappeared (?). Glad to see you found a solution.

Do you have access to the 'full' Fast Models product? This provides the Iris library, which allows more broad capabilities, including execution control. See the documentation in the below link. Please reach out if you would like more info.
