We’re excited to announce that this year’s Arm Research Summit will be taking place in Austin, Texas, from September 15-18 2019, and that the Call for Submissions is now open!
Austin is known as the Live Music Capital of the World, but it is also one of the fastest-growing technology hubs in the USA, and for good reason. An abundance of world-leading tech companies, start-ups and research organizations inspire cutting-edge development of the next generation of technology, including one of Arm’s primary design and research centers. What better location to host our first US Summit?
The Arm Research Summit is now in its fourth year, and offers a unique forum where academics, researchers and industry experts come together to discuss their own projects, discover the latest developments across a wide range of different fields, and make new connections for future collaborative opportunities.
The theme of the 2019 Summit is ‘Discovery through Diversity: Addressing tomorrow’s challenges, together’, and will focus on the importance of collaboration across multiple disciplines to address ever more complex computing challenges. The multi-day agenda will include keynote talks, presentations, workshops and demos from experts across all fields of technology research, as well as plenty of all-important networking opportunities. All this will be taking place at our new US venue, the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol.
The Call for Submissions is now open! If you’re working on an interesting project, have findings to share, or something to demonstrate, we’d love to hear from you. Different tracks within the conference will cover a wide range of diverse topics, so there is bound to be one that suits your specialty.
Unlike many academic conferences that generate paper proceedings, the Research Summit focuses on presentations and discussions, and therefore we welcome research at all stages of development. Whether this means sharing early-stage high-impact ideas with a view to receiving feedback, to new angles on already-published material providing new perspectives. and therefore we welcome research at all stages of publication. We also encourage participation from students at all levels of their academic career.
Submissions will close on 1 May 2019, and we encourage you to submit early. All submissions will be reviewed by an expert internal panel, and we aim to send notifications out in mid-June. For more detailed information on submissions, topics and the review process, please visit our website.
