15-18 September 2019 | Sheraton at the Capitol, Austin, Texas
The Arm Research Summit is taking place in the US for the first time this year, in the ever-expanding technology hub of Austin, Texas. Now in its fourth year, this unique research-focused event brings together researchers, academics and industry experts from all areas of technology to discuss the latest developments and challenges affecting our industry, and how we can collaborate to solve both current and future issues.
A multi-track, three-day program offers keynote speakers, presentations, workshops, demonstrations, posters and breakout sessions on a broad range of technological topics. With diverse sessions covering everything from hardware to software, machine learning to HPC, systems to security, and much more, there truly is something for everyone. We’ll be updating the program as we confirm more details, so stay tuned to the Summit website!
We believe that the most successful research brings together expertise from different disciplines and institutions, enabling new approaches to problem solving and novel technological applications. The Summit offers the perfect environment to expand your network and find others with similar interests, or an approach you hadn't yet considered.
There will be ample opportunities for informal networking as well as the chance to set up more structured and focused sessions with other delegates, enabling you to make new connections with colleagues who may be interested in future collaborative partnerships.
Unlike many events of its kind, the Summit accepts work at all stages of publication. Whether you’re looking for feedback on a project proposal, have some interesting findings which may impact the work of others, or want to discuss your ideas on some of the new challenges facing our society, we’d love to hear from you.
The Call for Submissions is only open until May 13, so be sure to submit your presentation, poster, demonstration or workshop soon to be in with a chance of sharing your work with diverse colleagues from across academia and industry.

Through our Research Collaboration and Enablement program, Arm offers access to a wide range of technology for both academic and research use, as well as access to varying levels of support for research projects. Whether you’re looking for support with funding body proposals, advice on project direction or to set up a collaborative project, our team will be interested to hear your ideas.
The Summit program will include sessions where you can find out how you can access Arm support and technology to help drive your research success, and there may even be some exciting announcements where you’ll be the first to find out the latest on our enablement plans.
The Arm ecosystem is one of the largest and most varied, encompassing silicon, system, and software elements which provide the capability to address both current and future needs. In our research, we collaborate with institutions and funding bodies around the world to develop solutions which will drive the industry forward. At the Summit, you can connect with Arm colleagues and collaborators to understand how to harness the power of this ecosystem to help enhance your own research.
