Security principles for Arm TrustZone for Armv8-M
The Internet of Things (IoT) is growing at an outstanding rate, with connected embedded intelligence becoming an integral part of people’s lives at an individual, industrial and societal level. However, for the IoT to maintain and accelerate this growth, improved efficiency, security and scale of IoT devices are essential for every piece of hardware, software or service. Learn practical tips to implement more secure IoT-based devices today.
To meet this growing need, in October 2016, Arm announced the Armv8-M architecture based on Arm Cortex-M23 and Cortex-M33 processors with TrustZone technology.
TrustZone for Armv8-M adds efficient security features to these two Cortex-M processors, so now it’s easier to develop applications and services to protect hardware and software assets from being misused, corrupted or accessed without permission - to enable IoT at scale.
In this webinar, Diya Soubra (Arm, senior product manager of Cortex-M33) and Pete Rielly (Arm, applications engineer) will explain the variety of hardware and software issues that a developer needs to be aware of before starting to develop the next-generation, security-aware applications using TrustZone technology.
