In this shortlist, I listed the books I'm reading or want to read. How I missed an orientation as well as order suggestions to read them, I thought it would be worth publish it here and as the suggestions and comments are emerging, It is organized as getting a general reading orientation.

Not quite the same focus on system programming and optimization - but the two together cover most things.
Peter, there must be some book that can be suggested as updating or replacement of this, I liked the content and ended up putting it in front and this week already started his reading, I found very interesting content and seem to supply enough knowledge I lack on the ARM architecture as a whole, and all in one book.
As andrewnsloss member of the community, is there any intention of new edition?
