Join us for Arm DevSummit 2021 from October 19-21

Arm’s annual DevSummit is approaching, and this year will be critical in preparing the ecosystem for the next decade of computing. The pandemic has challenged all of us to live a healthy existence, and in turn has sparked much-needed acceleration of the tools and technologies we need for a more connected future. The Arm developer community is massive, working to power devices all over the world with an unmatched level of collaboration. Working together means we can take the lessons of today to shape the best future for tomorrow. I invite you to register for DevSummit 2021 to learn the latest skills and build connections that will enable everyone to succeed in the next decade of computing.

DevSummit is where hardware and software join forces over a three-day virtual conference to deliver the latest technology insights, trends and opportunities to up-level your skills in technical sessions and hands-on workshops. Being a part of DevSummit 2021 also means you will have the chance to connect with like-minded software developers and hardware designers.

From chip design to machine learning, autonomous technology and the internet of things, Arm DevSummit will have more than 200 sessions including live interactive workshops and keynote presentations from the brightest in the business.

When and where will DevSummit 2021 take place?

Arm DevSummit 2021 is a virtual conference. Registration is free and attendees can access the conference’s virtual platform starting October 6. This is a good time to become acquainted with the platform given technical sessions will be released on-demand, available within 24 hours after the session concludes and until December 8 for registered attendees.

The live portion of the event is from Tuesday, October 19 through Thursday, October 21. For a preview of the sessions, the full agenda is available in advance on August 18.

Why is it important for me as a hardware design engineer or software developer?

Together we are working to shape the next decade of computing. The launch of Armv9 architecture this year signaled a new era for Arm and its partners and at the current rate, 100 percent of the world’s shared data will soon be processed on Arm; either at the endpoint, in the data networks or the cloud. Such pervasiveness conveys a responsibility on Arm to empower developers with the knowledge, resources and tools to build secure systems from the ground-up. Attendance also means you will be the first to learn about the latest technology advancements in computing so that you can write fast and run fast on Arm, plus get in-depth information and technical resources to enhance the capabilities you already have.

The next generation of Arm compute is here now, and you need to be ready. At DevSummit we will show you how Arm technology and the Arm ecosystem accelerate your product development by pulling together IP, tools, models, libraries, platforms, and more into a cohesive whole. Having worked as an embedded engineer for Arm partners for many years, I experienced the benefits when all the Arm technology comes together as a total solution. That, and the people of Arm, were a driving force for why I joined the organization: so I could be a part of the magic that brings together the partner and the system.

Conference Tracks

There will be seven conference tracks from Edge to Cloud:

  • Cloud Native for the Endpoint, Edge and the Cloud
  • The Future of Mobility is Software Defined
  • Developing Interactive Consumer Experiences
  • Practical Software Development for a Productive IoT
  • AI in the Real World: From Development to Deployment
  • Hardware Design Methodology
  • Optimizing Arm Technology for HPC, Cloud and 5G Infrastructure

Register early to avoid missing out

Register early for advanced access to technical sessions, the Arm DevSummit Discord server and other perks. Don’t forget to build your agenda around the seven conference tracks listed above. We will be welcoming a broad audience of engineers, developers, system architects and analysts up to C-level staff from the world’s most respected technology companies. Register for Arm DevSummit 2021 today at devsummit.arm.com/en.
