Arm at KubeCon and CloudNativeCon China 2025: Powering the future of Cloud Native AI

Last month, we had an incredible time at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon China 2025, held June 10–11 in vibrant Hong Kong. With the theme “Cloud Native AI Runs on Arm”, our mission was clear: showcase the power and efficiency of Arm-based cloud infrastructure and invite developers to join us on the journey of cloud transformation.

Strong developer engagement & global reach

At the booth, we were amazed by the genuine interest from the cloud-native developer community. Attendees came from across the globe, with top representation from China, USA, India, Singapore, and South Korea.

We achieved the following:

  • Over 450 new Arm Developer Program sign-ups, which is a new record for growth of our program membership at an event.
  • 181 new WeChat followers
  • Over 300 booth visits, that’s 65% of all KubeCon attendees
  • Interest and engagement across both of our featured demos from software developers, DevOps engineers, sysadmins, and architects.

Key demos & resources

We showcased two exciting demos:

  • Native Full Rancher Stack on Arm
  • Cloud Native AI Workloads on Arm-based Kubernetes

These demos sparked deep interest in migrating workloads to Arm architecture. To support this journey, we introduced developers to the Arm Cloud Migration Resource Center and Arm Software Ecosystem Dashboard—which both received positive feedback for the clarity of content and for providing practical resources for developers all in one place.

Community & collaboration momentum

Our presence also catalyzed strategic connections. We engaged with maintainers and owners of CNCF projects like KubeEdge, WasmEdge, and OpenFuyao, as well as leaders from GDG Cloud Hong Kong and AWS HK. The outcome? A clear interest in engineering collaboration and co-marketing opportunities with Arm.

We also welcomed visits from key companies including AWS, Huawei, SUSE, Alibaba, ByteDance, Ant Group, IBM, and many more.

Looking ahead

KubeCon Hong Kong validated what we believe: Cloud Native AI truly runs on Arm. This event helped us refine our message and connect with developers at scale, paving the way for broader engagement across Asia and the global cloud-native community.

Thanks to everyone who visited our booth, joined the Arm Developer Program, or stopped to learn more. We’re excited for what’s next and hope to see you at KubeCon North America 2025 in Atlanta in November.

Until then, we encourage you to Join the Arm Developer Program today and start building the future.
