Ulink connection problem when going into debug mode (using MCB2100 board)

Hello,

I have searched this forum about this issue, but I haven't found an answer yet ...

Here's the problem: I have the MCB2100 board with an LPC2129. I'm using Keil uVision v3 and the Ulink. A while ago I went to a ARM7 seminar and we 'played' a little with this board and the Ulink; it worked fine. Afterwards we got the sample code on CD with us. Now I want to use our own MCB2100 here at work. The program I want to load is the well known Blinky program.

Compiling is no problem, but when I want to go into debug mode I get several error messages like ' too many jtag devices in chain' or 'no jtag devices found' or 'jtag device chain error'.

J9 is ON (jumper placed) to make sure JTAG interface is enabled. The board has it's 9V supply and the Ulink is connected to the USB port on the PC.

In the 'debug' tab in the 'options for target ...' I have chosen 'use Ulink ARM Debugger' and in the settings I see one (the only one, because there is only one :) JTAG device in the JTAG device chain.

Most other settings are taken from the installation guide.

I hope someone can help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Ronald
