Becky Ellis

 Becky is User Research & Certification Manager and passionate about skills development and credentialing of all kinds, including digital badging and certificates. She has worked in academia for more than 15 years in a variety of roles, most recently developing from scratch and managing a large-scale skills certification programme called the UEA Award at the University of East Anglia. The quality of the UEA Award was recognised in Becky's appointment to the position of co-chair of the AGCAS Skills Award Task Group, which is the UK national body for skills awards in the careers sector. With a background as an academic in the fields of computer science and sociology, she is best known for her research on eBay; specialising in qualitative methods, the user journey and micro-ethnography. Rebecca previously worked for the University of Essex, University of Suffolk and BT in research and lecturing roles. Becky is also a qualified primary teacher and lecturer, with a keen interest in teaching pedagogy.
