Many of these developer community are familiar with Arm’s annual flagship event, Arm TechCon. As our vast community of software developers, tools vendors, and SoC designers has grown, Arm now looks to support this broad audience with a new flagship annual event newly named, Arm DevSummit. In 2020 this new technical program will be held on October 5-9 in an immersive virtual forum.

At Arm DevSummit, we explore the latest in mobile and high-performance computing. We will tackle the challenges in autonomous technology, and we dive deep into machine learning, IoT, and the latest advancements in chip design.

As a speaker at Arm DevSummit, you will have the opportunity to lead technical sessions and workshops to help the broader Arm ecosystem gain new knowledge, enabling them to develop high-performing Arm-based devices. Attendees will meet and collaborate with peers and Arm experts developing the software and hardware, tools, and services they build with every day. And they will use the inspiration and knowledge they gather to build, optimize, and troubleshoot their next project.

As a speaker, do not miss the chance to reach a passionate and attentive audience by submitting your papers for technical presentations, workshops, or panel discussions. A selection of topics and formats is available, offering you flexibility in bringing your technical expertise to the wider Arm community.

Technical Tracks

  • AI in the Real World: From Development to Deployment
  • Building the IoT: Efficient, Secure and Transformative Software Development
  • Chip Design Methodology
  • Cloud Native Developer Experience
  • Creating the Next Generation of Interactive Experiences
  • Infrastructure of Modern Computing
  • The Journey to Autonomous

Full descriptions of the technical tracks can be found here.

Due to the high number of submissions, papers will go through a selection process by an external and independent committee.

Strong speaker submissions feature

  • Real-life use cases and demonstrations. Sales pitches are discouraged unless as an after-thought to broader discussions around challenges and solutions.
  • Actionable takeaways for attendees. What is the tangible impact of your talk on attendees and their Arm-based system design or software development efforts?
  • Clear focus on attendees of a specific role. Who would benefit the most from your presentation?
  • Guidance on necessary technical knowledge. What proficiency level is required to easily digest your presentation?
  • In-demand, unique or non-obvious design or development of an Arm-based product.
  • Engaging, inspiring, and fun titles and descriptions.

All papers will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee and will be evaluated based on quality, relevance, impact, and originality.

The CFP submissions deadline is June 9, 2020.
