Keil MDK pack installer "updating pack descriptions" for several minutes, preventing work

So, I was at an office that uses keil mdk and needed to quickly update something in a firmware. last the install was used seemed to be several months ago, and the device pack/whatever for the chip in...
must add init.a51 to project????

I don't add init.a51 to my project but add startup.a51 to my project! but my gloabe variable initializesd all ok????????

Add PDFs to Keil project

Speaking for myself I really would appreciate if we could add pdfs manually to our Keil projects. I don't find the books tab very handy, the default datasheet and summary have to be downloaded from online...
