XC167CI: Serial Interface with EC++

Hi, I'm trying to communicate with XC167CI via serial interface using EC++. Unfortunatly, when I start "EC++ Sample for MCB-XC167 (Infineon XC16x)" nothing happens. Any idea to solve this problem?
