Government of India has been focused on building the overall semiconductor ecosystem and ensure that, it in-turn catalyses India’s rapidly expanding electronics manufacturing and innovation ecosystem. These efforts will enable India’s emergence as a global hub for electronics manufacturing and design.
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, India, Arm Education and STMicroelectronics are organizing the 2nd edition of the contest "The Inventors Challenge - 2023". This contest is an effort from our end towards strengthening Government of India’s mission to create a talent pool in Semiconductor domain and nurturing faculty and students’ capabilities in Semiconductors and technology innovation. We believe these interactions with Industry exposes academic ecosystem to technological advancements.
The competition is open to all faculty and students at engineering colleges pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in India.
This is a team event. Each team should have one faculty and up to four students. The idea must be submitted only by Faculty on behalf of the team.
The idea should be based on the below G20 goals (https://www.g20.org/en/workstreams/sherpa-track/) and Sustainable Development Goals (https://sdgs.un.org/goals). Only one idea per team is allowed. The participating teams are requested to go through the evaluation criteria before submitting the idea.
