Hello,
We are developing a safety-related embedded application based on the TI TMS570LC4357 (Arm Cortex-R5F). For Ethernet communication, we are using the lwIP TCP/IP stack integrated with the Hercules software examples.
We would like to clarify the following:
If this question is outside the scope of the Keil forum because lwIP is maintained by another organization, we would appreciate guidance on the appropriate point of contact.
Thank you.
The answer to your questions 1 + 2 is clearly: No
Our MDK Middleware (https://github.com/ARM-software/MDK-Middleware) is only suitable for Cortex-M (not Cortex-R) and it is NOT certified against one of your mentioned FuSa standards.
lwIP is developed and maintained by a worldwide network of developers. Please see https://www.nongnu.org/lwip/2_1_x/index.html for more details. I'm not aware of a FuSa certified TCP/IP stack.
