Hi,
I have this design for a controller but i dont know the program for it?
Where can I find the code for it? I tried google coding but cannot find it. I normally write Pascal(Delphi) but this needs to be in Keil C for a 8051.
I need to get it working quickly. Who will help?
ho crap, I meant flyer, of course..
We all know why you don't like our man Vince - you think he is demonstration of an American war monger who dedicates his life to developing weapons (even though he just stated otherwise. Does that make you a crazed, leftist propagandist?). Good for you, Jack. As for the rest of us, I believe he is seen as the main man when it comes to engineering practices.
"It is wonderful indeed to see that you so vociferously regard Vince's wife a bad flier."
Really not sure that it was particularly vociferous.
I'm just indicating that it (for whatever reason) was, to me, the most memorable part of Vince's posts on this thread.
Re:
"My wife on the other hand is very nervous when flying."
Don't you ever skim over text only to have your eyes drawn to certain words?
And, as for reading between the lines ... Well, I really don't think I need to go into that one do I? huh?

What a truly extraordinary piece of text!
Does that make you a crazed, leftist propagandist?
but that is the type of answer I always get when discussing with "a crazed, leftist propagandist"

Perpetual motion and politics?
Hmmmm. Sure someone can think of a connection.
Erik,
I'm so glad you had the summary of 'implying nothing' there.
I don't think I've ever been accused of being a 'leftist', a 'propagandist', a 'leftist propagandist' or even a 'crazed, leftist propagndist'.
Yes, OK, maybe I've been accused of being 'crazed' - But that's a totally different story ;)
Since we have so many experts on military and aviation software here. Anyone having links to good texts about software hardening? Most links I find are more about development processes and how to get software through different certifications.
Here is a link to some of my own information ripped from my private Wiki. I had to reformat it a bit to fit on a single html page, and also strip a lot of references to reusable code blocks or older projects.
Someone will probably have a field day complaining about the suggestions, but if at least some of the critique is constructive I may still come out learning something new. Hopefully the suggestions may help someone else too.

Decided that hardening would better have its own thread: http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread14537.asp
Per, A remarkable effort. I will let you know if I come up with something you might want to add.
Although the mechanical design of Perpetual motion machine is a "bit" complicate, the code is very simple (I write this every day ;-) : Pascal:
while True do begin {The code here will run forever. Isn't it?} end;
So, the translation to C for any MCU is very easy and not demand any tool:
while (1) { //The code here will run forever. Isn't it? }
Moshka, I Like The Code And It Looks As If It Has Been Written To Comply With Very High Standards But Can You Provide Evidence Of Any Certificates Of Conformance?
Hi Jerman Hoop,
Although I could provide you some certification, it better you rely on my word because I already tested it some times in the past on my perpatual motion machine and this code was ran forever! If you insist to get the certification, I'll send you soon as this code will finish to run this time..

A full life cycle test must of course be done.
