As soon as we power on the board, the controller chip starts heating up and when flashing error message comes "No JTAG device found".
Tried Flashmagic also but its not connecting. The error message is "failed to autobaud".
Sounds like a problem with the uC-chip itselv. Please contact Keil support.
BR, /th.
All electronic devices dissipate power, so a certain amount of heating is normal.
How hot does it get? eg, is it just slightly warm to the touch, or is it too hot to touch...?
Within seconds after power up, if you touch the chip, its heated and if run for over a minute or so the board is also heating (after I touch the bottom of the board).
"Within seconds" is too fast, so most probably something is wrong. I have received multiple broken Keil cards so it isn't impossible that there is something wrong directly from factory.
How do you power the board? The "best" way to quickly heat the controller (unless it is broken) is if it gets too high voltages or have shorted output signals. In reset mode (keeping the reset button pressed) or in boot loader mode - keeping the EINT0 (P2.10) pressed when powering up or releasing reset button - all GPIO should be in input mode with weak pull-up. Does that make a difference? Have you measured that it gets 3.3V?
Have you contacted Keil support?
