Following a failure my new motherboard does not have an integrated parallel port. I've added a PCI parallel port which works fine for the printer but my C51 V7 compiler doesn't see the dongle on it.
Is this a known problem with a workaround?

I you have a dongle then you must, at some point, have paid-up for a proper licence? In which case, have you asked Keil support about this?
Have you tried the utilities for checking dongle access? Search the knowledgebase for them...
Yes I had (and have again - on the same machine once it worked) this problem but with a motherboard integrated one. I remember this was depending on - BIOS (normal / bidi / ecp/epp) and / or - HardwareManager (?) settings, but which? I try again and tell you.
