JTAG error

I'm trying to download a F/W into str71x by Ulink and get the error "To many jtag devices in chain" ,does anyone knows what it means?

    Hopefully, it actually says, "Too many JTAG devices in chain"

    This means that the number of devices in the chain is (or appears to be) greater than the maximum number supported by the uLink.

    How many devices do you have in your JTAG chain?
